Redesigning Business Processes
A mid-size group with many small companies needed to be streamlined. With our strategies, it was downsized successfully and restructured so that some companies were merged and a few non-performing personnel were laid off. The machinery was updated, a niche market created and all pending disputes with stakeholders was settled within a few years. Vertical integration was done to control the supply chain and be self-sufficient. The company went on to become ISO certified and also win quite a few Chamber awards in Sri Lanka.
We redesigned business processes specific to Tea and Coffee and established a paradigm shift in the Route to Market strategy in a Global Food Company in India. This strategy gave the company a huge advantage in its historic weaker zones against the No.1 multinational in the identified geographical market.
